We've all been there: late at night, scrolling through endless listings, juggling tabs, trying to make sense of more than square footage and glossy photos. The question is never just what house but what life — what the streets feel like at dusk, how safe the walk home is, whether the schools, the parks, the air itself will make you want to stay.

The platforms most of us rely on are good at showing you bricks and mortar. The number of rooms, the council tax band, the price. But again and again, we saw friends and family left guessing about the bigger picture. The neighbourhoods behind the listings remained opaque. The data was fragmented. The decision, in our mind's one of the biggest of anyone's life, was left to gut instinct. So we decided to build the tool we wished existed.

At its heart, HomeDive isn't about property search. It's about removing the guesswork from one of life's biggest decisions. It's about giving people the clarity they deserve, so the choice of where to live feels less like compromise and more like possibility.

Jack has years of experience working with backend systems and complex datasets, building models that turn messy inputs into something clear and usable. Hen has a background in front-end design and development, with a focus on making tools simple, intuitive, and enjoyable to use. These skills felt like a natural fit for the problem we wanted to solve. We also lived together for several years and would most certainly have used this product ourselves, had it been available!

We'll always work to keep our data recent and as precise as possible. But data has limits. There will be gaps, imperfections, questions we don't have the answer to yet. When those moments arise, we'd rather you reach out. This is not a black box, it's a work in progress. And one we'd love to build with you, not just for you.

We built this tool because we needed it ourselves. And we hope it helps you see not just houses, but homes, neighbourhoods, and futures.
